14 Annual Action Report OR Movement 2020 / 5781 >>> THE FUTURE OF THE NEGEV – BEING, THE GATEWAY TO THE NEG THE YEAR IN WHICH THE VISITORS REFUSED TO GIVE IN – AND SHOWED UP The Gateway to the Negev Visitors Center, which in normal times hosts tens of thousands of people annually, adapted itself this year to the Covid-19 reality. We ensured that we maintained and strengthened awareness of development of the Negev and of the “Israel 2048 – A Shared Future” vision, whether through exclusive visits or through relaying content from a distance . In order to ensure a more empowering experience , even within the Covid-19 reality and with an eye on the future, over the past year we made significant developments to a range of services offered by the center; from workshops , extensive expansion of the possibilities for hosting within the Visitors Center’s courtyard for groups and organizations- whether business, governmental, civil, academic or others .
