11 UNITED AND FEARLESS PARTNERSHIP DEVELOPMENT Tomer and Shaked Bar Oz Moved from Kiryat Ono to Kibbutz Sufa A vision for the country cannot be defined and certainly not implemented on one’s own. Therefore, we have worked to bring together the leaders of the major Israeli associations in order to outline and accomplish a forward-looking vision. We established the “Century Council” to promote legislative initiatives and government decisions including partners such as: Benny Biton - Chair of the Forum of Development Towns and the Mayor of Dimona; Shai Hajaj – Chair of the Center for the Local Authorities in Israel and Head of the Merhavim Local Authority; Raul Serugo – Chair of the Association of Israeli Builders; Karin Meir Rubinshtein - CEO and President of the Israeli Advanced Technology Industries; Shlomi Yehiav Chair of the National Student Association; Ofir Katz – Chair of Civil Leadership, an umbrella organization for the non-profit sector; Shimon Lankry – Chair of the Galilee Council and Mayor of Acco; Tal El-Al – Chair of the Negev Council and acting Vice-Mayor of Be’er Sheva. We led the establishment of the “Century Council” which includes hundreds of organizations and leading public figures, who in their own fields work to breathe life into and implement the Israel 2048 vision! The council includes active working groups in policy, leadership, transportation, housing, employment and environment.
